Kenya Peaberry Theri

Kenyan green coffee beans are renowned for their bold, fruit-forward flavors and complex acidity. This coffee was grown in deep red volcanic soil at 1,500 to 1,600 meters, slowly ripening at high altitudes in cool temperatures. It is characterized by a bright, fruity taste with a wine-like acidity. This is due to the country's unique soil, climate, and altitude combination, which create the perfect conditions for coffee cultivation.

Theri Factory is a member of the New Murarandia Farmers’ Cooperative Society (FCS), an organization managed by a factory manager and an elected board, with seven permanent staff members. The FCS provides sustainability support to its members, including assistance with tree planting and the construction of soaking pits that help remove processing impurities from wastewater, preventing contamination of the local Thumara River.
